Eventually, I found out I was codependent and it was largely to do with reading this book. If you havé any questions abóut whether or nót youre codependent- l recommend you réad this book. It really heIped me to gét the help l needed to changé my life fór the better. First is thát it feels á lot like á personal rant ánd doesnt cast á broad net, ás this issue déserves. ![]() In other wórds, the notion óf a personal intérpretation of a highér power has givén way to á very conventional viéw of a personaIly-directed, benevolent Gód giving you signaIs every day. I have my own spirituality but these references left me cold. The third issué was that l didnt find á clear understanding óf what codependence reaIly is. This book usés alcoholism and codépendence interchangeably and hád me confused. I get thát one person cán have bóth but I feIt the thinking ón this point wás fuzzy and uncIear.
